Bich-Phuong Le is a Vietnamese visual artist. Her artworks are driven by the individuality and the ambiguity of reality and mindscape. Although Le has been practicing on Vietnamese traditional silk painting as her primary medium since 2010, she is also interested in Clay and Fiber Art. Through the art practice career, Le has many opportunities to introduce Vietnamese Silk Painting technique via her artworks which had been exhibited in Vietnam, France, Denmark, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, U.S.
In 2018, Le became the first selected Vietnamese artist for Institut France Artist in Residency program, which was sponsored by French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Her works had been referenced in “La symblique dans l’art Vietnamien contemporain” by Francois Damon and “Contemporary Feminist Art in Vietnam” by Cristiana Nualart.
